I really like the work coming out of the Swedish based Little Studio. Working together since 2010, Marit Lissdaniel and Angelica Utterberg, call their work playful and cheerful, fit for both adults and children. I totally agree, and I really love their mix of patterns and prints. Too see more of their work, take a look at the website.

You may remember Norrgavel from an earlier post with images shot onsite at a farm in Jämtland for their country catalogue. I really appreciate their craftsmanship as well as their ideals as a company. Well this morning they were kind enough to inform me they had posted more beautiful pictures, taken for their city themed catalogue. Thanks guys! If you would like to learn more about Norrgavel, their values, or just want to browse their beautiful work, visit their website. More images after the jump. Enjoy!

LOVE this solution for indoor gardening by Mut Design! The unique structure is modular and reversible, and can accommodate ceramic pots, lamps, and small galvanized steel table tops in three different directions at varying heights. Talk about possibilities! I think the single structures look great on their own, but are even more fantastic when combining to form a garden wall.

My favorite products are the ones that are the most simple, and can do more than one job. Like most families, we are on a limited budget, with many evolving needs. So when we do invest in something new, it needs to first be useful (there are way to many products out there that are not), and if possible be useful for more than one thing. A place where this is especially true for us is in the kitchen. We spend the vast majority of our time there. Food is getting prepared or cleaned up, toys are flying around on the hard floor, homework or coloring is going on at the table, and three small girls are constantly running in and out at top speed. The tools related to all these activities are strewn around everywhere. Anything that can help organize and streamline the processes here are greatly appreciated.

I love the ideals and mindse behind Nirvan Richter’s interior design store, Norrgavel. Having trained as a cabinet maker, the Architect and Designer shows great concern for every aspect of the eco-cycle. His pieces are made from natural materials that are both local and sustainable, and include chairs, armchairs, tables, cupboards, sofas and beds. Because of their efforts, Norrgavel won a Corporate Social Responsibility Award in 2008. These wonderful images are from their recently released catalogue of products, shot onsite at a remote farm in Jämtland. To see more products, or to learn more about Norrgavel, pay their website a visit.

I recently discovered the Established & Sons take on the flip-style clock. I have always loved this style (picture any of the wake-up scenes from the Groundhog’s Day movie), and I always keep the Twemco clocks in mind when looking around a second hand store. The Twemco designs (see below) also seem to have inspired Established & Sons, who have done a great job updating the classic time keeper without losing its vintage flair. I love playful use of fonts, and the red E&S logo is a great touch.
