I stumbled upon these patchwork cowhide rugs from Pure yesterday, and I have to admit I think they are beautiful. That being said, its another story if I feel entirely good about having rug made from animal hides on my floor. According to their website, these hides were taken from cows already butchered from other reasons, and then taken to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and in Brazil to be hand stiched by some of the tradition’s best known producers.
