HOMES | BELOVED STENGRATAN

Another fantastic home from Beloved Homes! Mia, Staffan, and their three boys call this townhouse built in 1963 home.  The rules of the house are easy, hang up your coat and don’t eat on the couch.  From our experience that is about as many rules as our kids can handle at a time.  I love how open this house feels.  Each room feels just large enough to allow multiple activities to happen at one time, but without losing the cozy intimate feel.  The kids have rein over their own spaces, and there are a few spaces set aside for adult retreats.  The balcony looks like an amazing place to pause and gather your parental strength.  Once again I find myself being jealous of two things: a coat room (our apartment offers only a small, dark closet that is just not enough to house everything a family might need to venture outdoors in the Pacific Northwest), and a large enough hobby space to really spread out in.    The kitchen seems to be the perfect size for a family of five.  Whenever we are in ours (preparing meals, snacks, juice, or whatever else was on the menu) our girls seem to only want to hang around on the floor where they can play, watch, and possibly help with whatever is going on up at counter height.
