Hilda Grahnat is a 23 year old photographer and graphic design student based in Malmö, Sweden. She has a great portfolio of photography, and also runs a blog and a shop, which you might remember from this earlier post. Hilda has done a wonderful job on her own home and was kind enough to share the photographs on her website and flickr page.

Came across these today by Jan Skácelík, a graphic designer / photographer / composer in Olomouc Czech Republic, and thought they were fun. Kind of the Maria Holmer Dahlgren take on the Star Wars series.

So this weekend I decided we needed a new system of organizing our mail situation. Our former system was haphazardly stacking everything on the table or the counter, in no real order, and moving the pile back and forth between the two whenever it was in the way. We have tried different types of organizers, but what it boils down to is that I am lazy. Unless something is super simple, I will probably eventually stop using it. I could only foresee one problem, and that was the possibility of my wife and I forgetting which board was which and mixing things up again. We would need boards for three categories: things that need attention right away, things waiting to be dealt with later, and mail ready to go to the mailbox. The more apartments I come across in Malmö, Sweden, the more I think I need to move there. Found via From Scandanavia with Love.

Here is a little Swedish inspiration. From what I can tell from the website, the apartment is located in Ribersborg, Malmo (Sweden). I love the simple interior, and pretty much everything about the kitchen. The boot shelves at the entry are a nice touch for the small space, although we would have to keep our eyes on a couple tiny climbers in our home, until they learned not to use the shelves as a latter.
