ESTABLISHED AND SONS | WRONG WOODS

The Wrong Woods furniture series is a collaboration between designer Sebastian Wrong and artist Richard Woods for Established & Sons.    Wrong’s role is creating the pieces of furniture, leaving the surfaces as a blank canvas for Woods and his production team, who then apply the simplified wood grain prints in vibrant colors.  Introduced to the public at the 2007  Milan Furniture Fair, the complete Wrong Woods line includes a night table, a chest of drawers, a bookcase, and a credenza type storage unit.  All are available through YOOX.com.

Furniture can be a product of design and is considered a form of decorative art. In addition to furniture’s functional role, it can serve a symbolic or religious purpose. It can be made from many materials, including metal, plastic, and wood. Furniture can be made using a variety of woodworking joints which often reflect the local culture.:`
